Election Commission of India | ECINET App

ECI invites public feedback on ECINet app ahead of January 2026 launch

The Election Commission of India (ECI) has invited citizens to submit suggestions to improve the ECINet digital platform, as the Commission prepares for its full launch in January 2026. Suggestions can be submitted through the ‘Submit a Suggestion’ tab on the ECINet app between November 27 and December 27.

The trial version of the app was used during the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025 and recent bypolls. According to the Commission, ECINet enabled faster delivery of voter services, quicker updates on polling percentage trends, and the publication of Index Cards within 72 hours of polling—an exercise that earlier took weeks or months.

Feedback from Chief Electoral Officers, district officials, electoral officers, observers and field staff is being incorporated to further enhance the platform’s features.

The initiative aims to boost voter convenience and strengthen transparency through the integration of election-related services under one digital interface. ECINet has been developed under the leadership of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and Election Commissioners Dr Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and Dr Vivek Joshi.

ECINet consolidates nearly 40 separate election-related apps and websites, including the Voter Helpline App, cVIGIL, Saksham, Polling Trends, and Know Your Candidate, into a single unified platform. The app is available on both Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
