Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in the 128th edition of his monthly ‘Mann Ki Baat’ radio address on Sunday, highlighted several major developments and achievements recorded across the country in November.
PM Modi noted that November featured important national events, including a programme in Parliament’s Central Hall on Constitution Day and the launch of nationwide celebrations marking the 150th anniversary of Vande Mataram. He also mentioned the hoisting of the Dharma Dhwaja at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on November 25 and the inauguration of the Panchajanya Memorial at Jyotisar in Kurukshetra.
Reviewing recent progress, the Prime Minister pointed to advancements in infrastructure and defence. He cited the inauguration of the world’s largest LEAP engine MRO facility in Hyderabad and the induction of INS Mahe into the Indian Navy. PM Modi also mentioned the inauguration of Skyroot Aerospace’s Infinity Campus, calling it an important step for India’s private space ecosystem.
The Prime Minister further highlighted agricultural achievements, stating that India has recorded an all-time high food grain production of 357 million tonnes – an increase of 100 million tonnes over the last decade.
On the sports front, PM Modi noted that India has been selected to host the Commonwealth Games, calling it another significant milestone for the country.
PM Modi said that these achievements belong to the nation and its citizens, and added that ‘Mann Ki Baat’ serves as a platform to bring public contributions and collective effort into focus.
