Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday congratulated India’s Deaflympians for their stellar performance at the 25th Summer Deaflympics 2025 in Tokyo, where the team achieved a record-breaking medal tally.
India bagged 20 medals, including nine golds, marking its best-ever performance at the Deaflympics.
Lauding the athletes, the Prime Minister said that the players have once again proven that determination and dedication can lead to outstanding results.
In a post on X, PM Modi wrote: “Heartiest congratulations to our Deaflympians for their extraordinary performance at the 25th Summer Deaflympics 2025 in Tokyo.
