The Indian cricket team succumbed to a 408-run defeat against South Africa in Guwahati, their heaviest home loss in terms of runs, as the visitors completed a 2-0 whitewash in the Test series.
Chasing a daunting target of 549 in the final innings, India were bowled out for just 140 in 64 overs during the second session of the last day.
Ravindra Jadeja top-scored for the hosts with 54, but India once again struggled against the spin of Simon Harmer, who claimed 6 for 37 for South Africa.
Aiden Markram took a record nine catches in the match for South Africa.
Reigning world Test champions South Africa had earlier won the opening Test in Kolkata inside three days.
