The programme is being organised by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) and aims to strengthen India’s workforce preparedness for an artificial intelligence-driven future.

The President will also virtually inaugurate the IGNOU Regional Centre at Rairangpur, which is expected to serve as a key hub for northern Odisha by supporting employability through skill-oriented education and training programmes.
Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship said artificial intelligence is rapidly reshaping job roles and skill requirements across sectors. The ministry has prioritised AI skilling with a focus on accessibility, relevance and inclusion through initiatives such as SOAR – Skilling for AI Readiness, aligned with emerging industry needs.
