‘Working extensively to reform civil aviation sector’: PM Modi extends birthday wishes to Ram Mohan Naidu

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday extended birthday greetings to Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu, praising his efforts to reform the civil aviation sector.

In a post on X, the Prime Minister said, “Birthday wishes to Union Minister Shri Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu Garu. He is a youthful leader who is working extensively to reform the civil aviation sector. Praying for his long life and wonderful health.”

Union Home Minister Amit Shah also conveyed his wishes, praying for the Minister’s long and healthy life. “Warm birthday greetings to Union Cabinet Minister Shri Ram Mohan Naidu Ji. May you always remain blessed with good health and long life,” Shah said in a post on X.

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari joined in, extending his greetings and wishing Naidu continued success. “Extending my heartfelt birthday wishes to the Union Minister Shri Ram Mohan Naidu Ji. May this occasion bring joy and the year ahead be filled with health and prosperity,” he said.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also wished the Union Minister on his birthday. “Warmest wishes on your birthday, Hon. Union Minister Shri Ram Mohan Naidu Ji. May Prabhu Shri Ram bless you with a healthy, long and prosperous life,” he said.

Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu, born in 1987, has been serving as the 33rd Union Minister for Civil Aviation since 2024. He represents the Srikakulam Lok Sabha constituency in Andhra Pradesh and has been elected to the 16th, 17th and 18th Lok Sabha.

Under his leadership, Ponduru Khadi from his home district of Srikakulam was granted the Geographical Indication (GI) tag in 2025.

Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh also praised Naidu’s work ethic and commitment. “Happy birthday to my dear brother and Union Civil Aviation Minister Shri Ram Mohan Naidu Ji. I have seen your commitment, work ethic and quiet determination up close. Proud of the way you are shaping India’s civil aviation sector. Wishing you good health and many more achievements ahead,” Lokesh said on X.
