The Ministry of Women and Child Development on Thursday launched PANKHUDI, an integrated digital portal designed to streamline Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and partnership initiatives focused on women and child development.
Union Women and Child Development Minister Annapurna Devi unveiled the portal in the presence of Minister of State Savitri Thakur and Ministry Secretary Anil Malik.
The portal aims to consolidate contributions and collaborations from NGOs, companies, CSR contributors, NRIs, government agencies and individuals working in areas such as nutrition, health, early childhood care and education, child welfare, rehabilitation, women’s safety and empowerment.
Ministry said the platform is intended to strengthen transparency, enhance coordination, and build a structured digital ecosystem for voluntary and institutional participation. It enables contributors to register, identify initiatives, submit proposals and track project progress through defined approval workflows.
PANKHUDI supports flagship missions of the Ministry, including Mission Saksham Anganwadi & Poshan 2.0, Mission Vatsalya and Mission Shakti. All contributions on the platform will be processed through non-cash modes to ensure traceability and accountability.
The Ministry said the initiative aligns with the Prime Minister’s vision of leveraging technology for transparency, participation and trust, and advancing Jan Bhagidari in governance.
With over 14 lakh Anganwadi Centres, around 5,000 Child Care Institutions, 800 One Stop Centres, 500 Shakhi Niwas and more than 400 Shakti Sadan expected to benefit, the portal is aimed at improving service delivery and ease of living for beneficiaries nationwide.
