MP CM Mohan Yadav meets PM Modi in Delhi

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Thursday met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi and apprised him of the key achievements and future roadmap of the state government over the past two years.

Sharing details of the meeting on social media platform X, the Chief Minister said he received guidance from the Prime Minister and informed him that Madhya Pradesh had achieved the target of becoming a “Naxal-free state” ahead of schedule. He also briefed the Prime Minister on the government’s major initiatives, progress made in various sectors, and the upcoming action plan.

CM Yadav informed the Prime Minister about the observance of ‘Kisan Kalyan Varsh–2026’, aimed at realising the vision of “Prosperous Farmers–Prosperous Madhya Pradesh.” He also highlighted investment commitments exceeding ₹8 lakh crore and large-scale employment generation through the ‘Abhyuday Madhya Pradesh Growth Conclave’.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister extended an invitation to the Prime Minister to visit Madhya Pradesh for the foundation stone laying ceremony of the expansion project of the NTPC Super Thermal Power Station at Gadarwara in Narsinghpur district. He said that under the Prime Minister’s leadership and guidance, Madhya Pradesh is moving rapidly towards self-reliance and witnessing fast-paced development across sectors.

Earlier in the day, CM Yadav also met J. P. Nadda, the Bharatiya Janata Party national president and Union Health Minister, during his visit to the national capital. Describing the interaction as productive, the Chief Minister said he received guidance from the BJP president on various issues related to the state’s development.
