Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday extended warm birthday wishes to Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Virendra Kumar.
In a post on X, the Prime Minister said, “Best wishes to Union Minister Dr. Virendra Kumar Ji on his birthday. His extensive work towards furthering societal progress and transforming the lives of people is commendable. May he be blessed with a long life and excellent health.”
Union Home Minister Amit Shah also took to X to convey his greetings. “Heartfelt birthday wishes to the Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment, Shri Virendra Kumar ji. I pray to God for your healthy and long life,” he wrote.
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari shared his greetings as well, stating, “To my colleague in the Union Cabinet, Dr Virendra Kumar, heartfelt birthday wishes. I pray to God for your excellent health, long life, and a blessed future.”
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav also extended his wishes, posting on X, “Heartfelt birthday greetings and best wishes to the Honourable Union Minister Shri Dr Virendra Kumar Ji. May you be blessed with good health and a long life – this is my sincere wish.”
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath joined in conveying his greetings. “Heartfelt birthday wishes to the Honourable Union Minister Dr Virendra Kumar Ji. May Lord Shri Ram bless you with excellent health, long life, and a glorious future – this is my prayer,” he said.
Born in 1954, Dr Virendra Kumar is currently serving as the Union Cabinet Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment. He represents the Tikamgarh (SC) Lok Sabha constituency in Madhya Pradesh and has had a distinguished parliamentary career spanning multiple terms since he was first elected in 1996.
