Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday highlighted how Tripura’s development journey has gained rapid momentum by embracing the mantra of ‘Vikas bhi, Virasat bhi’ -development alongside heritage.
The Prime Minister was responding to a social media post by Union Minister for Communications and Development of North Eastern Region, Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, who shared an article on Tripura’s transformation.
In a post on X, PM Modi said that by balancing development with the preservation of cultural heritage, Tripura has been achieving new milestones at a fast pace. He noted that the state’s progress reflects a harmonious blend of infrastructure growth, industrial expansion, and celebration of its rich traditions. Sharing Scindia’s article, the Prime Minister encouraged people to read about Tripura’s evolving landscape and growing potential.
Union Minister Jyotiraditya M. Scindia said that Tripura is moving forward on the trinity of heritage, policy, and progress, and is emerging as a strong gateway connecting the North-East with South-East Asia under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He added that during his recent visit, he witnessed firsthand the significant changes that have taken place over the past decade, where tradition and modernity are complementing each other to shape a new development narrative.
