PM Modi visits tech exhibition in Jerusalem, explores cutting-edge Israeli innovations

Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited a tech exhibition in Jerusalem on February 25. 2026.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, accompanied by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, visited a high-level technology exhibition in Jerusalem on Wednesday showcasing pioneering Israeli innovations across diverse sectors.

The exhibition featured leading companies and research institutions working in agri-tech, water technology, climate-tech, health biotechnology, smart mobility, artificial intelligence (AI), cybersecurity, quantum technologies, energy and space systems. PM Modi is on a two-day State visit to Israel.

Both countries are advancing collaboration through the “India-Israel Innovation Bridge” initiative, aimed at building joint solutions to address contemporary global challenges.

During the walk-through, PM Modi interacted with scientists, tech entrepreneurs and CEOs from several prominent Israeli firms and institutions.

In the quantum and deep-tech segment, he was briefed by Israeli company Quantum Machines on the Israeli Quantum Computing Centre (IQCC), while another company Classiq demonstrated efforts to simplify quantum software development.

In the health-tech domain, start-up AISAP showcased its AI-powered point-of-care ultrasound system that offers real-time diagnostic guidance. The Horizon Scanning Division of Israel’s Ministry of Science and Technology presented “Tech Scout,” an AI-driven platform for strategic risk detection and trend analysis.

Smart mobility solutions were highlighted by Mobileye, which demonstrated its advanced sensor and chip technologies aimed at reducing road accidents.

Cybersecurity firm Check Point Software Technologies presented its advanced threat prevention systems and ongoing collaborations in India.

Sustainability-focused innovations were also prominently featured. WaterGen demonstrated its technology for generating potable water from air, while N-Drip showcased gravity-powered micro-irrigation systems. Natural Offset Farming (NOF) presented electricity-free post-harvest solutions designed to reduce food loss in the field.

In climate and biotechnology, Remilk demonstrated precision fermentation for lab-produced milk proteins, BarAlgae displayed machine-learning-integrated microalgae cultivation, and Mynora Bio showcased plastic waste management using specialised bio-conversion additives.

The Geophysical Institute (GII) exhibited high-resolution modelling technologies for mineral resource quantification. In the space sector, Israel Aerospace Industries presented its miniaturised communication satellites and integrated Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) systems.

During his interactions, PM Modi noted that the technologies on display hold immense potential for scaling up India-Israel cooperation in innovation, start-ups and business partnerships, particularly in agriculture, water management, healthcare and digital services.

He invited Israeli companies to explore opportunities in India for investment, manufacturing and technology partnerships, underscoring India’s growing innovation ecosystem and its commitment to strengthening bilateral collaboration in advanced technology sectors.
