PM Modi seeks blessings of Maa Kaalratri on seventh day of Chaitra Navratri

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday extended greetings to citizens on the occasion of the seventh day of Chaitra Navratri, dedicated to Goddess Maa Kaalratri, and prayed for courage, determination, and success for all.

In a post on X, the Prime Minister said, “I bow down to Mother Kaalratri! It is my prayer that, through Her blessings, everyone’s life be enriched with courage, determination, and success.” He emphasised that the worship of the Goddess instils renewed confidence and fills devotees with fresh energy.

Sharing a Sanskrit subhashitam in praise of the Goddess, he said, “The worship of Mother Goddess instills a new sense of self-confidence in her devotees. Her spiritual practice (Sadhana) fills everyone with a renewed energy.”

The Prime Minister also shared a devotional rendition of “Kali Kali Bol Roshona” by Sohini Mukherjee.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath described Maa Kaalratri as the destroyer of evil and a source of auspicious blessings, praying for peace, prosperity, and positive energy across the universe.

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta called Maa Kaalratri “slayer of enemies and the wicked” and said her blessings grants courage to overcome crises and move forward fearlessly.

Maa Kaalratri, the seventh manifestation of Goddess Durga, symbolises the destruction of darkness and ignorance. Depicted with a fierce form, she embodies both protection and strength, blessing devotees with fearlessness while eliminating negative forces.

Navratri is being celebrated across the country with great devotion, with thousands of devotees visiting temples to offer prayers and seek blessings on this auspicious day.
