PM Modi seeks blessings of Maa Siddhidatri on ninth day of Chaitra Navratri

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday extended heartfelt greetings to citizens on the ninth day of Chaitra Navratri, dedicated to Goddess Siddhidatri, the ninth form of Durga.

In a post on X, the Prime Minister said, “Salutations to Maa Siddhidatri! I pray to the Goddess to bless all her devotees with the fulfilment of their goals.”

He also shared a Sanskrit verse, invoking the blessings of the Goddess, who is revered by divine beings and is believed to bestow spiritual powers, accomplishments, and overall well-being.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also conveyed his greetings, stating that Maa Siddhidatri, the bestower of eight siddhis and nine treasures, brings happiness, prosperity, and good health to devotees. He prayed for peace and well-being across the universe.

In a separate message, Adityanath extended greetings on Ram Navami, marking the birth anniversary of Lord Ram. He emphasised that Lord Ram symbolises the ideals of compassion, duty, and righteousness, inspiring people to uphold truth, harmony, and moral conduct in society.

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta also paid tribute to Maa Siddhidatri, describing her as the bestower of all accomplishments. She said the Goddess’s blessings empower individuals to fulfil their goals and contribute to public welfare, while also praying for prosperity and happiness for the people of Delhi.

Chaitra Navratri concludes with Navami, marking the culmination of nine days of devotion, fasting, and spiritual observance. Devotees across the country offer prayers to seek blessings for success, prosperity, and overall well-being.
