Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Karnataka today, where he is scheduled to inaugurate the Sri Guru Bhairavaikya Mandira at Sri Kshetra Adichunchanagiri in Mandya district and participate in a cultural event.
According to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), PM Modi will reach Mandya district at around 11 AM to inaugurate the memorial and address a public gathering on the occasion.
The Sri Guru Bhairavaikya Mandira has been constructed as a tribute to Sri Sri Sri Dr. Balagangadharanatha Mahaswamiji, the 71st Pontiff of Sri Adichunchanagiri Mahasamsthana Math. Built in traditional Dravidian architectural style, the memorial honours the life and legacy of the revered seer, who was widely known for his contributions to education, healthcare, and social service.
The Mandira is envisioned not only as a place of reverence but also as a centre of inspiration for future generations, reflecting the values and teachings of the late spiritual leader, who advocated service to society beyond barriers of caste, creed, and region.
During the visit, the Prime Minister will also jointly release a book titled “Saundarya Lahari and Shiva Mahimna Stotram” along with former Prime Minister H. D. Deve Gowda.
