The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is heading towards a decisive victory in West Bengal after taking a massive lead over the Trinamool Congress (TMC), according to the latest counting trends released by the Election Commission of India.
West Bengal recorded one of its highest-ever voter turnouts in the Assembly elections, with 93.19% polling in Phase I and 91.66% in Phase II, taking the overall turnout to 92.47%, according to the ECI.
