PM Modi addresses public meeting in Gujarat’s Jamnagar

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Gujarat’s Jamnagar on Sunday evening to a grand welcome from residents and BJP supporters, before addressing a public meeting at Lal Bungalow.

“After programmes in Bengaluru and Hyderabad, landed in Jamnagar a short while ago. Upon landing, addressed a public meeting in the city. Thanked the people of Gujarat for their continuous blessings for the BJP. It is rare for a party to get so much support over decades and as time has passed, this support has only risen,” said PM Modi in a post on X.

PM Modi is on a two-day visit to Gujarat and is scheduled to participate in a series of religious and public events on Monday.

The Prime Minister will attend the Somnath Amrut Mahotsav at the Somnath Temple, marking 75 years since the inauguration of the restored temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas and a major symbol of India’s spiritual and civilisational heritage.

During the celebrations, he will participate in the Vishesh Maha Puja, Kumbhabhishek and Dhvajarohan ceremonies. He will also release a commemorative stamp and coin dedicated to the Somnath Temple’s historical and spiritual legacy.

Later in the evening, PM Modi will travel to Vadodara to inaugurate the Sardardham Hostel and address another public gathering. The hostel complex includes accommodation facilities for 1,000 boys and 1,000 girls, along with a library, auditorium, dining hall and e-library.
