Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday highlighted the Modi government’s achievements in strengthening national security over the past 12 years, stating that India has emerged as a strong and secure nation capable of protecting its citizens and responding decisively to threats.
In a post on X, Shah said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has been rebuilt as a “bastion of security” that safeguards its people while delivering a strong response to its enemies.
Shah cited key measures such as the surgical strikes, air strikes, Operation Sindoor, the abrogation of Article 370, efforts to eliminate Naxalism, and the signing of more than a dozen peace accords in the Northeast as examples of the government’s commitment to national security. He said these initiatives have demonstrated India’s resolve to tackle both external and internal security challenges.
