Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday extended birthday greetings to Union Coal and Mines Minister G. Kishan Reddy, praising his dedication to public service and his efforts in strengthening India’s coal and mining sectors through reforms and policy initiatives.
In a post on X, PM Modi said, “Best wishes to Union Minister Shri G. Kishan Reddy Garu on his birthday. He is known for his hard work and passion for national progress. He has undertaken numerous efforts to strengthen the coal and mines sector, especially through reforms as well as policy measures. Praying for his long and healthy life.”
The Prime Minister’s remarks come as the government continues to focus on enhancing domestic energy security, boosting mineral production, and accelerating reforms in the mining sector under Reddy’s leadership.
Several senior leaders and ministers also conveyed their greetings, acknowledging Reddy’s contributions to governance and economic development.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah commended Reddy’s role in advancing the government’s vision of an energy-secure India.
“Birthday greetings to Union Cabinet Minister G. Kishan Reddy Garu. Your dedicated efforts as the Minister of Coal and Mines to make Modi Ji’s vision of an energy-sufficient India a reality are commendable. May you always remain blessed with good health,” HM Shah said.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh highlighted the minister’s contribution to the modernization and growth of the coal and mining sectors.
“His tireless efforts and dedicated work towards the growth and modernization of India’s coal and mining sectors continue to contribute significantly to the nation’s progress. I pray for his good health and a long life devoted to public service,” Singh said in his message.
Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari also extended his greetings, wishing Reddy good health, happiness and prosperity in the coming year.
Union Minister Pralhad Joshi praised Reddy’s service to the nation and wished him continued success in his responsibilities.
Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath also conveyed his greetings, describing Reddy as a popular public leader and wishing him a long, healthy and prosperous life.
