The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has extended the deadline for stakeholders to submit comments on the draft Telecom Consumer Complaint Redressal (Fourth Amendment) Regulations, 2026.
The draft regulations were released on May 7, 2026, and the original deadline for submitting comments was June 5. However, following requests from stakeholders and industry associations seeking additional time, TRAI has decided to extend the deadline for written comments to June 12.
The regulator has also allowed stakeholders to submit counter-comments on the feedback received. The last date for filing counter-comments has been fixed as June 19.
TRAI said comments and counter-comments should be submitted electronically via email to [adv.ca@trai.gov.in](mailto:adv.ca@trai.gov.in).
For further clarification or information, stakeholders may contact Vivek Khare, Advisor (Consumer Affairs), through the same email address or by phone at +91-11-20907772.
The draft amendment aims to strengthen the framework for redressing telecom consumer complaints and improve the overall consumer grievance resolution mechanism in the telecom sector.
