Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday extended birthday greetings to Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, praising his contribution to strengthening India’s defence capabilities and public service.
In a post on X, PM Modi lauded Singh’s leadership in advancing India’s defence sector and promoting self-reliance.
“Birthday greetings to Union Defence Minister, Shri Rajnath Singh Ji. He is at the forefront of building a strong and secure India through his work towards ensuring our nation becomes Aatmanirbhar in the field of defence. Equally noteworthy is his understanding of various governance-related issues. Praying for his long life and good health,” the Prime Minister said.
Responding to the Prime Minister’s message, Singh said, “I express my heartfelt gratitude for your encouraging words. Your visionary leadership has set India on an unprecedented path of growth, development and inclusive progress. Serving the nation under your inspiring leadership is an honour, and I remain committed to contributing to this transformational journey with full dedication and firm resolve.”
HM Shah also conveyed his greetings, describing Singh as a key force behind the modernisation of India’s armed forces.
