Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday expressed grief over the loss of lives in a tragic road accident in Karnataka.
In a post on X, the Prime Minister said, “The mishap in Karwar, Uttara Kannada district of Karnataka, is deeply saddening. My thoughts are with the bereaved families in this hour of grief. I pray for the speedy recovery of those injured.”
The accident occurred on Thursday morning when a SUV carrying a group of friends collided head-on with a truck at Balagar in the Arabail Ghat section of Yellapura taluk in Uttara Kannada district.
