Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday reviewed the flood situation in Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland during a meeting with Members of Parliament from the two northeastern states.
In a post on X, the PM said: “Had a meeting with MPs from Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland. We talked about the situation in these states in the wake of floods there. The Central Government will keep working with the respective state Governments to address the challenges.”
He also prayed for the safety and well-being of those affected by the floods.
The meeting comes amid widespread flooding and landslides in Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland following heavy rainfall in recent days. Road closures, waterlogging and damage to agricultural land have been reported from several areas in both states
