PM Modi shares Pralhad Joshi’s article on e-Jagriti, digital consumer justice

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday shared an article by Union Consumer Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi highlighting the government’s e-Jagriti platform, saying it digitises the entire lifecycle of a consumer complaint and represents a major step towards structural digital reform in consumer justice.

Sharing the article on X, PM Modi said Joshi had explained how e-Jagriti addresses multiple challenges through end-to-end digitisation of consumer complaint handling.

“He notes that, following extensive consultations with stakeholders, e-Jagriti has been refined, placing consumer justice among the sectors undergoing structural digital reform,” the Prime Minister said.

The article, published in Mint, outlines how the e-Jagriti platform aims to modernise India’s consumer dispute resolution system by creating a fully digital ecosystem for filing, tracking and resolving complaints.

According to the Prime Minister’s Office, the platform has been refined after extensive consultations with stakeholders to improve efficiency, transparency and accessibility in consumer justice.
