Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan will undertake a two-day visit to Tamil Nadu on August 16 and 17, during which he will participate in a series of academic, commemorative and literary events across Chennai, Chengalpattu, Thiruvarur and Thanjavur.
On August 16, V-P Radhakrishnan will attend the 22nd Convocation of SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) at Kattankulathur in Chengalpattu.
In Chennai, he will attend a function marking the first death anniversary of former Governor La. Ganesan at Vani Mahal in T. Nagar.
The Vice-President will later participate in the release of ‘Echoes of a Nationalist Mind’, a book based on the thoughts and writings of late K. Ramagopalan, founder of the Hindu Munnani. The event will be held at the D.G. Vaishnava College Auditorium in Chennai.
On August 17, V-P Radhakrishnan will attend the 11th Convocation of the Central University of Tamil Nadu in Thiruvarur.
Thereafter, he will travel to Thanjavur to participate in the Ruby and Silver Jubilee Valedictory Celebrations of SASTRA Deemed University.
