Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah on Monday met revered Pejawar Mutt seer Sri Vishwaprasanna Teerth Swami Ji in New Delhi.
The meeting took place during the seer’s 39th holy Chaturmasya Vrat being observed in the national capital.
In a post on X, Amit Shah said he felt “profoundly fortunate” to meet the revered saint and seek his blessings.
He highlighted the significance of Chaturmasya Vrat, describing it as a sacred tradition that introduces people to the virtue of renunciation through meditation, restraint and inner awakening.
Shah also expressed his wishes that the spiritual teachings and inner light of Sri Vishwaprasanna Teerth Swami Ji would continue to illuminate the path for humanity.
The Pejawar Mutt is one of the prominent Madhva tradition monasteries associated with Udupi in Karnataka.
