Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday congratulated Indian shooters Rudrankksh Balasaheb Patil, Himanshu Dhillon and Parth Rakesh Mane for their medal-winning performances in the 10m air rifle events at the Asian Games 2026.
PM Modi congratulated Rudrankksh Patil for winning the bronze medal in the men’s 10m air rifle individual event, praising his focus and discipline throughout the competition.
In a post on X, the Prime Minister said:
“Congrats to Rudrankksh Balasaheb Patil for winning a Bronze in the 10m Air Rifle Men’s Asian Games event! His focus and discipline were commendable throughout. Best wishes for the endeavours ahead.”
The Prime Minister also congratulated Himanshu Dhillon for winning silver in the men’s 10m air rifle event, praising his composure under pressure and accuracy.
“A superb Silver for Himanshu Dhillon in the 10m Air Rifle Men’s event at the Asian Games! His calm under pressure and remarkable accuracy stood out. Congratulations to him on this excellent achievement. India is proud of his performance,” PM Modi posted.
PM Modi separately congratulated Rudrankksh Patil, Himanshu Dhillon and Parth Rakesh Mane for winning the silver medal in the men’s 10m air rifle team event.
He praised the trio’s focus, consistency and teamwork, saying their performance had made the country proud.
“It was indeed a commendable performance with a great combined score. Their focus, consistency and teamwork have made India proud. Best wishes for the endeavours ahead,” the Prime Minister said.
The Indian trio secured the silver medal in the team event with a combined score of 1898.4 points.
The medals added to India’s tally on the second day of the Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, with shooting once again making a significant contribution to the country’s medal haul.
