The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust is set for a key administrative change at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, with newly appointed Chief Executive Officer Air Marshal Jeetendra Mishra (Retd) scheduled to assume full charge of temple operations on Monday.
Mishra will oversee the temple’s administrative functioning and is expected to remain in Ayodhya and within the temple premises, marking a more direct approach to day-to-day management.
His appointment comes amid allegations concerning the theft of offerings made by devotees at the temple. The trust has appointed Mishra with a focus on strengthening administrative oversight and improving the management of temple-related activities.
His assumption of charge is expected to bring greater focus to the management of offerings, security arrangements and day-to-day operations. However, specific details of any changes to existing systems have not yet been disclosed.
