Delhi-NCR is likely to experience cloudy and relatively pleasant weather on Wednesday, with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasting generally stable conditions in the national capital over the coming week.
The minimum temperature in Delhi is expected to remain around 26 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature may reach 35 degrees Celsius.
According to the IMD, daytime temperatures are likely to remain between 32 and 35 degrees Celsius from September 9 to September 15.
The maximum temperature is forecast at around 35 degrees Celsius on Thursday, before falling to nearly 32 degrees Celsius on Friday. Temperatures are expected to remain around 33 degrees Celsius over the weekend and could decline further to approximately 31 degrees Celsius next week.
The IMD has not issued any weather warning for Delhi for the week, indicating broadly stable conditions in the national capital.
Delhi recorded sunrise at 6:02 am on Wednesday, while sunset is expected at 6:33 pm. Winds are likely to blow at around 3.89 kmph, with gusts reaching up to 8.61 kmph.
In neighbouring Haryana, weather is expected to remain warm, with hazy sunshine likely in several areas. The maximum temperature may reach around 37 degrees Celsius, while most parts of the state are expected to remain dry. No weather warning has been issued for Haryana.
Rajasthan is also likely to remain hot and predominantly sunny, with temperatures expected to reach around 36 degrees Celsius. The IMD has not issued any weather warning for either eastern or western parts of the state.
Bihar, however, is likely to experience more unsettled weather, with cloudy skies, thunderstorms and rain expected at several places. The IMD has issued a warning for heavy rainfall, along with thunderstorms and lightning.
In Odisha, partly cloudy conditions and thunderstorms are likely in some areas, with temperatures expected to remain in the lower 30s. The weather department has issued a warning for heavy rainfall and cautioned about thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds in some areas.
Himachal Pradesh is likely to witness partly sunny skies with isolated showers, particularly during the afternoon. While no major weather warning has been issued, scattered rainfall remains possible.
Uttarakhand is expected to experience cloudy spells and rain, particularly during the afternoon. The IMD has warned of thunderstorms, lightning and intense to very intense spells of rainfall at isolated places in several districts.
The weather department has advised people in areas under severe weather warnings to remain cautious during thunderstorms, lightning and periods of heavy rainfall.
