Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav addressed the “Investment Destination: Madhya Pradesh” event at the AIM Congress in Dubai. He said that the state offers transparent policies, good governance and an investor-friendly environment, along with wide opportunities for growth. Highlighting Madhya Pradesh’s central location, the Chief Minister said its strong road and rail network and modern logistics infrastructure make it well placed for exports and distribution. He identified agriculture, industry and services as key strengths, and said there is significant investment potential in food processing and textiles. Dr. Yadav also highlighted traditional products such as Chanderi and Maheshwari, saying they represent Madhya Pradesh’s rich heritage and have the potential to gain greater global recognition.

The event was also attended by Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of Foreign Trade of the United Arab Emirates. He underlined the importance of India as a significant partner for UAE and expressed willingness to work with the Indian states to double the existing India-UAE bilateral trade to 200 Bn USD by 2030.
Earlier today, Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurated the Madhya Pradesh Pavilion in the exhibition area of the AIM Congress-2026, organized at the Dubai World Trade Center. On this occasion, the Chief Minister interacted with representatives of industrial groups and investors, briefing them on Madhya Pradesh’s industrial, commercial, and investment potentials. Through the Madhya Pradesh Pavilion, investment opportunities, policies, and possibilities in various sectors available in the state are being presented to global investors.
Dr. Mohan Yadav also held a series of meetings in Dubai. He held a meeting with Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Member of the UAE Federal Supreme Council and the Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah. The leaders spoke about further strengthening trade and investment relations between Madhya Pradesh and the United Arab Emirates.
Dr. Yadav held a meeting with Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of Foreign Trade of the United Arab Emirates. They discussed the potential of investments in Madhya Pradesh and Dr. Yadav invited Al Zeyoudi to the Global Investment Summit 2027.
The Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister also met Rustam Minnikhanov, the Rais of Tatarastan. The leaders discussed the cultural connect between India and Russia and potential areas of cooperation.
The Chief Minister held a one-to-one meeting with World Bank Vice President for Digital and AI Affairs, Mr. Sangbu Kim, and his team. They discussed the possibilities for funding and financial cooperation for AI, digital governance and technology-based projects in Madhya Pradesh.
