The FASTag Annual Pass has crossed the milestone of one crore passes issued since its launch on August 15, 2025, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) said on Monday.
“The milestone reflects growing acceptance of the Annual Pass among private vehicle owners for providing a seamless and economical travel option on the National Highways and Expressways,” added the Ministry.
The annual pass has been introduced as a seamless and economical travel option for non-commercial vehicle owners, allowing them to avoid frequent FASTag recharges through a one-time payment.
The pass is currently applicable at around 1,150 fee plazas on National Highways and National Expressways. It is available for all non-commercial vehicles with a valid FASTag.
Under the scheme, vehicle owners can obtain the pass for a one-time fee of ₹3,075, which provides validity for one year or up to 200 toll plaza crossings, whichever comes first.
The Annual Pass is activated on the existing FASTag linked to the vehicle after the one-time payment is made through the Rajmargyatra App.
The Ministry said the growing uptake of the FASTag Annual Pass reinforces its effectiveness in promoting seamless and economical travel on National Highways across the country.
