Indian Railways has approved a new tri-weekly Amrit Bharat Express between Bhuj in Gujarat and Barauni in Bihar, connecting key destinations across Gujarat, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.
The new train service will cover a distance of 2,532 km, providing an additional rail connectivity option between western and eastern parts of the country.
Train Schedule
The Bhuj–Barauni service will operate on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, while the Barauni–Bhuj service will run on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
Major Stations on the Route
The train will have commercial stoppages at several important stations, including Samakhiali, Ahmedabad, Ratlam, Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Gangapur City, Bharatpur, Mathura, Hathras, Bareilly, Izzatnagar, Pilibhit, Lakhimpur, Gonda, Gorakhpur, Siwan, Chhapra, Hajipur, Muzaffarpur and Samastipur, among others.
The new service is expected to provide passengers with an additional rail travel option between Gujarat, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, while strengthening connectivity between the western and eastern regions of the country.
