Karnataka is showcasing its diverse tourism attractions at the Arabian Travel Market in Dubai. The Arabian Travel Market (ATM) is a major annual trade show for the international travel and tourism industry and is being held from 14th to 17th September in Dubai. It serves as a global business platform for inbound and outbound tourism professionals.
State Energy and Tourism Minister K. J. George inaugurated the Karnataka Tourism stall, which highlights the state’s heritage, culture, landscapes and tourism experiences. Speaking at the event, the Minister said that Karnataka has something to offer across its districts, from Mysuru, Hampi, Badami, Belur and Halebidu to Pattadakal. He also highlighted the state’s coastal tourism, the Western Ghats and three UNESCO-recognised heritage sites in the state. He added that participation at ATM Dubai aims to showcase the state to the global tourism community and attract more international visitors.
An exhibition on showcasing select ODOP (One District One Product) products from the state is also featured at the Karnataka Tourism stall at the ATM.
