Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav arrived in Dubai on Sunday, beginning his 3 day visit to the UAE.
He will be participating in the Annual Investment Meeting (AIM) Congress in Dubai and will engage with investors, pithcing Madhya Pradesh as an attractive investment destination. Outlining the objective of the visit, he said that the goal is to attract investment in every sector, including logistics, mining, agriculture, food processing, textiles and artificial intelligence, to boost trade and create new employment opportunities for the youth of the state.
Expressing confidence that investors will become partners in Madhya Pradesh’s journey of development, the Chief Minister said that that more than 900 outdated laws were abolished, along with several policies to simplify procedures and reduce delays. This, he said, has led to faster project implementation.
Dr. Mohan Yadav met President of the Arab Parliament, Mohammed Ahmed Al Yammahi, and invited him and the members of the Arab Parliament to participate and invest in Global Investment Summit that the state is scheduled to host early next year.
The Chief Minister also inaugurated a special exhibition showcasing Madhya Pradesh’s ‘One District One Product‘ initiative, giving the state’s unique local products a platform to reach global markets and connect with international buyers, an important step in taking these products ‘from local to global‘. The products showcased included Bell Metal Craft of Betul, Chanderi handlooms from Ashoknagar, Batik dyeing art from Ujjain, Maheshwari Saree from Khargone and Gwalior Carpet, among others.
Dr. Mohan Yadav said that an economy is built on the strong foundations of products from various districts and that Madhya Pradesh offers a wide variety of local products.
Later in the evening, he also participated in “Tycoons by AIM Congress” – a niche gathering of influential policymakers, investment leaders, sovereign wealth executives, unicorn founders and entrepreneurs.
Dr. Mohan Yadav is leading a Madhya Pradesh delegation to the AIM Congress, being held in Dubai from 7th to 9th September 2026. The Chief Minister will inaugurate the Madhya Pradesh Pavilion and address an investment session at this event on Monday. He will also meet representatives of major business groups in Dubai and Sharjah to present Madhya Pradesh’s industrial and tourism potential to global investors.
