Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday shared an article by Harsh Goenka, Chairman of RPG Enterprises, highlighting India’s approach to building coalitions and advancing its strategic interests amid a fragmented global order.
A post shared by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) on X said, “Shri Harsh Goenka, Chairman of RPG Enterprises, writes that PM Narendra Modi’s foreign policy approach is about building coalitions in a fractured world, balancing ties with competing powers while advancing India’s strategic interests. He highlights the New Delhi Declaration adopted at the BRICS Summit as an example of India’s coalition-building approach.”
In the shared article, Goenka described PM Modi’s diplomatic approach as personal, pragmatic and focused on maintaining engagement with countries holding differing strategic interests. He highlighted India’s simultaneous engagement with the United States, Russia, China, Europe, the Gulf countries and the Global South.
Referring to the recent BRICS Summit in New Delhi, Goenka said that member countries have diverse political systems and strategic priorities, yet adopted the New Delhi Declaration. He also highlighted PM Modi’s bilateral engagements with several leaders during the summit.
