In his article, Salve attributed India’s ability to withstand global shocks and maintain growth to political stability and a clear sense of national direction under PM Modi’s leadership.
Salve said India had emerged as an “island of stability” and an “engine of growth” during a period marked by geopolitical tensions, economic disruptions and rapid technological change. He contrasted India’s political continuity with leadership changes in several major democracies and noted that policy consistency had strengthened the country’s domestic and foreign policy.
