Ladakh Lt Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena has been appointed to discharge the functions of the Lt Governor of Jammu and Kashmir during the absence of Manoj Sinha, who is on leave, the President’s Secretariat said on Tuesday.
Sinha, who took charge as the LG of Jammu and Kashmir on August 7, 2020, is currently in the US on an official visit, official sources said.
Saxena will discharge the functions of the Jammu and Kashmir Lt Governor in addition to his own duties as Ladakh Lt Governor, according to a communique issued by the President’s Secretariat.
