Celebrating her triumph, the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) shared in a social media post:
“Lovlina’s golden triumph is a matter of immense pride for the nation and will inspire the next generation to dream big.”
Speaking to reporters at the airport upon her arrival, Borgohain expressed gratitude to the people of Assam for their constant support and encouragement.
Following her return, a formal official felicitation by the state government for the Olympic bronze medalist is scheduled for Wednesday.
