The Delhi Cabinet has expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his 25 years in public service and the Centre’s support for developmental works in the national capital, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta said on Wednesday.
Listing out several key initiatives taken up in infrastructure and policy issues in the last year, CM Gupta said the Centre has helped the national capital in its ‘Viksit Delhi’ mission.
“In the previous government, the works were stuck. But all the Central policies were implemented in Delhi after our government was elected in 2025. Ayushman Yojna was implemented after the first Cabinet meeting,” CM Gupta said at a press conference.
“The Prime Minister has always given financial assistance and his guidance to resolve all the legacy problems of the national capital,” CM Gupta added.
She said if Delhi is moving towards a decongestion plan, it is due to several road infrastructure projects taken up by the Centre.
