External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar said globalisation cannot be reversed, but must be navigated with greater resilience. He also highlighted the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor (IMEC) as an initiative that is already shaping regional thinking on connectivity.
He made these remarks during a discussion on ‘The Continental Corridors: Who Connects the Heartland?’ at the Raisina Middle East event in Abu Dhabi. He further said that competition has intensified, new chokepoints have emerged, and the willingness to leverage advantages has grown. Dr. Jaishankar also underscored that as the global landscape evolves, India is building its own strengths and establishing trusted partnerships.
On the sidelines of Raisina Middle East, the External Affairs Minister also met young Indian technology entrepreneurs and founders. Describing the interaction as interesting, he said this generation thinks big and boldly.
“Interesting to meet young Indian tech entrepreneurs & founders on the sidelines of Raisina Middle East. This generation thinks big and thinks boldly,” said EAM S Jaishankar in a post on X.
