A special cabinet meeting chaired by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Monday passed a “congratulatory resolution” to commemorate Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25 years as an elected representative.
The state cabinet expresses gratitude on behalf of more than 8.5 crore people of Madhya Pradesh for his journey from Chief Minister of Gujarat to Prime Minister of the country, Yadav said at a press conference.
Citing distribution of free food grains to more than 80 crore citizens, Yadav said, “This used to happen in Ram Rajya and is happening now. Impossible and unimaginable things have happened under PM Modi’s rule.”
The resolution wished the PM Modi a long, healthy and successful life.
The state cabinet reiterated its commitment to make PM Modi’s “we will do it” mantra a mission for Madhya Pradesh, Yadav said while citing schemes like Jan Dhan, Mudra, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Jal Jeevan Mission, Ayushman Bharat, Swamitva, PM SVANidhi, and Ujjwala.
These schemes have made the resolution of Antyodaya meaningful, he said.
“The resolution also mentions demonetisation, GST, the Triple Talaq law, three new judicial codes, and the Jan Vishwas Adhiniyam. The resolution describes the state’s achievements as a result of the Prime Minister’s guidance and the efforts of the ‘double-engine’ government,” he added.
A new chapter in expanding irrigation capacity in Madhya Pradesh has begun with the Ken-Betwa, Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal and Tapi Basin projects, he said.
The Prime Minister’s visionary leadership has also brought the resolution of freedom from Naxalism to reality. The resolution expresses the government’s commitment to work shoulder to shoulder under the Prime Minister’s leadership to build a developed MP by 2047, Yadav said.
