Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday expressed gratitude to former President Ram Nath Kovind for his greetings on completing 25 continuous years as Head of Government, saying his observations on the changes taking place across India, particularly in the lives of the poor and marginalised, were especially meaningful to him.

PM Modi completed 25 continuous years as Head of Government on Wednesday, marking a political journey that began with his assumption of office as Chief Minister of Gujarat on October 7, 2001, and continued with his taking over as Prime Minister of India in 2014.
