Textile PLI Scheme Portal to Reopen on November 1; Minimum Turnover Cut to ₹100 Crore

The Ministry of Textiles will reopen the application portal for the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme for Textiles from November 1 to December 31, 2026, to accept new applications under Round 4 of the scheme.

The minimum turnover requirement under Part 2 of the scheme has been reduced from ₹200 crore to ₹100 crore to enable wider participation by micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and mid-sized manufacturing units, according to a Ministry of Textiles press release.

The scheme aims to promote the manufacturing of Man-Made Fibre (MMF) Apparel, MMF Fabrics and Technical Textiles, enhance domestic manufacturing capabilities, attract investment, generate employment and strengthen India’s position in global textile value chains.

Scheme Tenure Extended for Round 4 Applicants

The scheme tenure has been extended up to Financial Year 2033–34 exclusively for applicants approved under Round 4. The extension is intended to provide these applicants with a longer investment and operational horizon to establish and scale up their manufacturing capacities.

Existing Participants Can Migrate to Round 4

Existing participant companies under Rounds 1, 2 and 3, across any part of the scheme, that have not claimed or received any incentive so far are also eligible to migrate to Round 4.

However, they must withdraw their existing applications under Rounds 1, 2 and 3, as applicable.

Applications Open Till December 31

The online application portal, https://pli.texmin.gov.in, will remain open from November 1 to December 31, 2026.

Eligible companies have been encouraged to submit their applications within the stipulated period in accordance with the applicable scheme guidelines.
