Gujarat presents Vibrant Gujarat 2027 pitch to Dubai’s business community

Gujarat is reaching out to the global business community ahead of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit (VGGS) 2027, sending multiple delegations to important countries to invite investors and industry leaders to participate in the state’s flagship investment event.

As part of this global campaign, a high-level Gujarat Government delegation visited Dubai and held a series of meetings with the industry leaders in the UAE; cutting across various sectors including oil & gas, logistics, financial institutions, manufacturing groups and real estate. The delegation also interacted with Indian entrepreneurs and the diaspora residing in the UAE, at an event organised by the Indian People’s Forum (IPF) UAE. The presentations by the State government were followed by an interactive Q&A Session wherein the delegation addressed the queries raised by the participants.

The delegation had also covered the countries of Qatar and Oman, before concluding their Gulf visit in Dubai. The delegation was led by Shri Lochan Sehra, Secretary, Labour, Skill Development and Employment Department, Government of Gujarat. Shri. Sehra said that they got very good response from investment authorities from these three countries, especially from the oil & gas industries.

The 11th edition of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit will be held from January 10 to 12, 2027, at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar. The flagship investment summit was conceptualised by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2003, when he was the Chief Minister of Gujarat. It was started with a vision of positioning the state as a preferred global investment destination. Over the years, it has evolved into a major international platform for investment promotion, business networking and strategic partnerships.
