Conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar, who is currently lodged at Delhi’s Mandoli Jail for a 200 crore scam, has written a letter to the Central Education Minister and the Minister for Women and Child Development in which he proposed to donate 30 crore rupees for Raksha Bandhan to benefit unprivileged girls.
In the three-page letter, he requested both ministries to donate 30 crore rupees on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan to help tribal, economically disadvantaged, and differently-abled sisters through the government.
He also outlined the ‘Beti Bachao’, ‘Beti Padhao’ movement led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and expresses his desire to contribute as a responsible citizen towards the welfare of the country’s daughters.
Sukesh stated that he intends to use the 30 crore rupees as scholarships to provide a small assistance to girls from weaker sections of society. The funds will be transferred to the government through demand drafts, facilitated by his team. This donation will be distributed to the concerned departments through various organizations and NGOs.
He also acknowledged that it is a small contribution and expressed his willingness to offer further assistance in the future.
The letter concluded with Raksha Bandhan greetings to all the girls.
