New Delhi,17 August (HS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi met eminent scientist and former Chairman of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), Dr. V.S. Expressed grief over the demise of Arunachalam.
Paying tribute to Arunachalam, the Prime Minister said that his death will leave a great void in the scientific community.
In a tweet message, Prime Minister Modi said, “The demise of Dr. Arunachalam has left a huge void in the scientific community and the strategic world. For his knowledge, passion for research, and rich contribution to strengthening India’s security capabilities, he was greatly appreciated for his performance. Condolences to his family and well-wishers. Om Shanti.”
It is noteworthy that the former DRDO chief was 87 years old. His family said in a statement on Wednesday that he died in California, USA.
