This momentous victory marks India’s return to the pinnacle of equestrian excellence after an agonizing 41-year wait. The last time India tasted Gold in this sport was at the 1982 Asian Games held in Delhi.
The triumphant Indian equestrian team, consisting of Anush Agarwalla, Hriday Cheeda, Divyakriti Singh, and Sudipti Hajela, displayed exceptional skill and teamwork, amassing a total score of 209.25. Their impeccable performance left no room for doubt, securing their rightful place atop the podium.
In a closely contested battle, China emerged as the runners-up, earning the silver medal with a total score of 204.882 points.
