The Ministry of Mines and its field formations, along with Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs) have achieved significant milestones in their Special Campaign 3.0. This campaign is aimed at addressing pending matters, streamlining rules and processes, improving records management, resolving public grievances, and enhancing workplace experiences in offices.
Special Campaign 3.0 commenced on 2nd October 2023 and the Ministry of Mines have attained 100% of the target set for easing of rules or proceduring by de-criminalizing 27 rules through the amendment of Atomic Mineral Concession Rules, 2016.
The Ministry has resolved 95.45% of pending public grievances during the first week of the campaign, showcasing its dedication to addressing concerns and providing timely solutions.
Special Campaign 3.0 represents a concerted effort by the Ministry of Mines and its affiliated organizations to enhance efficiency, transparency, and public service delivery.
Furthermore, 52 % of the tasks earmarked for records management have been successfully completed. Notably, the Ministry has achieved 43% of its goal to weed out physical files, resulting in the liberation of approximately 9212 square feet of office space for more productive purposes.
The Ministry is determined to achieve a 100% success rate in these cleanliness campaigns during the campaign phase. Special Campaign 3.0 represents a concerted effort by the Ministry of Mines and its affiliated organizations to enhance efficiency, transparency, and public service delivery.
By achieving these remarkable milestones in just the first week, they are setting a high standard for effective governance and public administration, ensuring that the needs and concerns of the public are addressed promptly and efficiently.
