PM Modi inaugurates key projects in Ayodhya worth over Rs 15,700 Cr

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated and dedicated several developmental projects totaling over Rs 15,700 crore at Ayodhya Dham. The projects, aimed at transforming Ayodhya and its surroundings, include initiatives worth approximately Rs 11,100 crore for Ayodhya’s development and Rs 4,600 crore for various projects across Uttar Pradesh.

The inauguration ceremony began with the unveiling of the redeveloped Ayodhya Railway Station, where PM Modi also flagged off new Amrit Bharat trains and Vande Bharat trains. He further dedicated numerous railway projects to the nation, emphasizing the government’s commitment to enhancing transportation infrastructure.

Among the significant unveilings was the inauguration of the newly built Ayodhya Airport, now named Maharishi Valmiki International Airport. Speaking at the event, PM Modi expressed his joy at being in Ayodhya Dham and acknowledged the city’s fervor during his roadshow. He highlighted the anticipation surrounding the upcoming Pran Pratishtha at the Ram Temple on January 22.

PM Modi drew attention to the historical significance of December 30, commemorating Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’s flag hoisting in Andaman in 1943. He linked this auspicious day to the government’s commitment to the Amrit Kaal, symbolizing progress and development.

Underlining the government’s focus on preserving heritage while promoting development, Prime Minister spoke about India’s ability to blend ancient and modern.

PM Modi emphasized Ayodhya’s role in the development of Uttar Pradesh, projecting an increase in pilgrims and tourists due to the Grand Ram Temple. He highlighted infrastructure revamps to meet the expected demand, including the expansion of Ayodhya Dham Railway Station and various path projects.

In addition, PM Modi introduced the new train series ‘Amrit Bharat’ trains, designed with a focus on providing modern facilities and comfortable travel for people with lower incomes. He celebrated the integration of heritage with development through Vande Bharat Express trains, linking centers of faith across the country.

The event concluded with Prime Minister Modi urging all Indians to light Shri Ram Jyoti and take a new resolution for the country. He encouraged a nationwide cleanliness campaign, especially at pilgrimage sites, and reiterated his commitment to Ayodhya’s holistic development.

The projects unveiled by PM Modi are expected to bolster Ayodhya’s significance on the national map, combining progress with cultural heritage.
