ADNOC Gas announced a 10-year agreement to supply 0.5 million metric tons per annum (mmtpa) of Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) to GAIL India Limited, reinforcing its position in the Asian LNG market and enhancing UAE-India relations.
This agreement adds to ADNOC Gas’ portfolio of international LNG sales agreements with partners such as JAPEX, TotalEnergies Gas and Power, IOCL, and PCI.
In response to the growing global demand for natural gas, ADNOC Gas continues to focus on sustainable growth, exemplified by the signing of LNG agreements valued between $9.4 billion and $12 billion in 2023.
Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Alebri, CEO of ADNOC Gas, emphasized the significance of the long-term LNG supply agreement with GAIL India, highlighting the company’s commitment to providing reliable energy solutions.
Natural gas, recognized as a transitional fuel with lower carbon emissions, plays a crucial role in ADNOC Gas’ contributions to the UAE’s integrated gas masterplan.
