PM Modi to inaugurate Rs. 19,100-crore development projects in Bulandshahr

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to inaugurate a series of development projects in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh, on Wednesday, highlighting the government’s dedication to comprehensive infrastructure development with a total investment of Rs. 19,100 crores.
 
One of the key projects in Bulandshahr involves the inauguration of a 173 km long double-line electrified section between New Khurja and New Rewari on the Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC), strategically connecting the Western and Eastern DFCs.
 
Additionally, PM Modi will dedicate the fourth line connecting Mathura to Palwal section and Chipiyana Buzurg to Dadri section, enhancing connectivity between the national capital and southern, western, and eastern regions of India.
 
The visit also includes the inauguration of several road development projects, including the Aligarh to Bhadwas four-laning work, the widening of Meerut to Karnal border via Shamli, and the four-laning of Shamli-Muzaffarnagar section, with a combined cost exceeding Rs. 5000 crores.
Further, PM Modi will launch the Tundla-Gawaria Pipeline by Indian Oil, a 255 km long project completed ahead of schedule at a cost of about Rs. 700 crores.
 
Aligned with the PM-GatiShakti initiative, the ‘Integrated Industrial Township at Greater Noida’ (IITGN) will be dedicated to the nation. Developed at a cost of Rs. 1,714 crores, this project spans 747 acres.
 
The visit also includes the inauguration of the renovated Mathura sewerage scheme, reflecting the government’s commitment to environmental sustainability and modern sanitation infrastructure, with an approximate cost of Rs. 460 crores.
 
The Moradabad (Ramganga) sewerage system & STP works (Phase I) will contribute to pollution abatement in the Ramganga River at Moradabad. Built at a cost of about Rs. 330 crores, this project includes a 58 MLD STP, approximately 264 km of sewerage network, and nine sewage pumping stations.
 
In the evening, PM Modi is set to hold a bilateral meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron in Jaipur, addressing crucial aspects of the India-France relationship and discussing various geopolitical challenges.
